Sammamish Red Hawks Band ProgramSammamish High School offers a high quality band program to students in 9th through 12th grades. This year, 9th graders will participate in Concert Band and all other grades will participate in Wind Ensemble. An elective Jazz Band program offers a small group experience and additional performance venues to interested students.
![]() In addition, all band members participate in Marching Band, which provides the opportunity to perform, learn new teamwork skills, and enjoy music in a different way! Marching Band fills the Sammamish stadium with Red Hawks spirit and provides half-time entertainment at home football games. They pump up the crowd at school assemblies and pep rallies, and often march in parades. When winter rolls around, this group of dedicated students also serves as the Pep Band for the Sammamish Boys and Girls Basketball Teams.
In the past, contributions to the SPAB organization have funded the purchase and repair of instruments, marching band uniforms, clinicians, and scholarships to students in need. This year, the Band program is seeking to bring enhanced high-quality learning experiences to support the music education of every student. Donations to SPAB will make this possible through clinics with instrument experts, an off-campus music retreat, and scholarship funds so every student is able to participate regardless of economic needs.
